About Me
I’m Talen Andersen, a passionate musician and educator based in Northern California. With years of experience performing across genres and venues, I bring a unique energy to every live show. I specialize in performing a wide variety of songs and love collaborating with fellow musicians.
As an educator, I strive to make music accessible to everyone, whether through private lessons or leading ensemble groups. My mission is to continue to inspire and share the joy of music with others, both on stage and in the classroom.
Live
I offer dynamic live performances, delivering an engaging mix of covers, and original compositions. Whether it’s for a wedding, corporate event, or intimate gathering, I tailor each performance to the atmosphere of the occasion.
I can also step in on vocals, bass, guitar, keys, or drums if your band needs an extra hand. Additionally, I’m available for special performances, such as singing the national anthem, features, or holiday specials, ensuring every event is memorable.
Music Lessons
I believe that music is an essential element of society and culture, and therefore belongs in the educational experience. However you want to engage in music education, I am here to help you achieve your musical goals.
Whether I am working with traditional bands and choirs or working one-on-one in a private lesson, my pedagogy is the same: show students the joys of music practice and performance.
